Ep 18: Red Room Nashville Secrets
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Red Room Nashville looks unmarked from the outside, then opens into a swanky, member-only lifestyle club that feels intentional from the first ID check to the last dance. We’re recording right from the venue and walking you through what made it stand out: a discreet speakeasy vibe, an upscale dress code, and a clear structure that helps couples relax instead of feeling like they’re on display.
We talk about why Nashville is quietly becoming a top destination city for lifestyle travel. You can spend the day hiking, fishing, or soaking up history, hit Broadway for live music, then escape for a few hours into a space built around privacy and consent. We also share what we noticed on the floor: a welcoming mix of newer and seasoned couples, staff who actually set the tone, and security that’s present without being overbearing.
Then we get practical. We break down the vetting process, the 24-hour approval window, BYOB logistics, VIP seating, phone rules, and how the club handles single male attendance with limits and invitation-based access. We wrap with a mailbag question we hear constantly: how new lifestyle couples can find meet-and-greets and house parties using SDC, SLS, smart searching, and real community connections.
If you enjoy honest venue reviews and travel-friendly lifestyle tips, subscribe, share the show with a friend, and leave a quick rating or review so more couples can find us.

SPEAKER_01Welcome to Next Door Swing, a podcast about lifestyle travel and events, hosted by Veteran Lifestyle Couple, Cora and Max. In each episode, we hope to entertain, educate, and provide information based on our own personal experiences. The views, thoughts, and ideas expressed are solely our own and not to be taken as professional advice. Hey there. Welcome to our episode all about Red Room Nashville.
SPEAKER_00Yes, and we're finally on the road. For you guys that have been subscribing and watching and following us on our trails, we are officially on the road. Yes, we are in Nashville.
SPEAKER_01We made it out of Florida.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's what we like to say. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01A little bit of update about our travel because we have been traveling quite a bit for the last month. So we spent a good three or four weeks in central Florida, kind of like around Ocala and Orlando in that central Florida area. We had to have some work on the rigs. So we took advantage of that, did some fishing and some hiking and just relaxing in Central Florida. It was great.
SPEAKER_00It was great. We did some fishing. We didn't catch a whole lot of fish, but it didn't matter. Didn't matter. It was fine. It was okay. But guys, you know, if you have an RV, you probably know as well that maintenance is a big thing, right? So yeah. So we were stuck there for a little while. But guess what? We're now on the road and coming live from Nashville.
SPEAKER_01Exactly. One thing that we did do while we were kind of stuck in Central Florida having some work done on the rig is we looked out and found a meet and greet to go to. And that's something we do every time we are someplace, you know, at a diff at a different location. Um we jump on the sites, check out the events going on. We found a little meet and greet at a kind of a cool little biker bar. And it was put on by a group called Metamore Events. Now, Metamore is a live band that's strictly for lifestyle. They're based out of Florida. They're doing a variety of events around Florida. So if you're looking for live music that's very lifestyle friendly and um lifestyle generated, um go check them out at their website.
SPEAKER_00And if you know anything by about us by you know by now is the fact that we love live music. We love going out and uh enjoying those events. So great group. Go check them out and uh see where they're coming near you if you're in Florida.
SPEAKER_01So when we left Central Florida, we went Florida, yeah, Alabama, uh, let's see.
SPEAKER_00Arkansas, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, Missouri.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Is that right? And I want to ask somebody out there, one of your subscribers, do this for me, okay? As we talk about this, and I'm gonna try and do this. Every time we're driving, we talk about our driving. I want to tell you guys which so far, our experience on the road, who has what state has the worst roads, okay? Let's put it that way. I'll I'll try and keep it discreet. But Mississippi, all right, you guys have won so far. I'll tell you the roads suck in Mississippi. All right, nothing bad about you guys in Mississippi, but yeah, wow, you gotta pay some tax dollars or something going on. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Anyway, because we feel all the bumps in that big rig, guys. Yeah. So we landed in Missouri and we stayed there for about a week visiting family. That was fantastic. And then when we left Missouri, we went to Missouri, Kentucky, and Nashville.
SPEAKER_00So that's where we am right here in Tennessee.
SPEAKER_01And so we have been enjoying a really nice week in Nashville. We've been here for a week. We have another week to go in the like the Nashville area. And while we have been here, we love mixing business with pleasure or or uh you know recreation with uh with play stuff as well. And so we have done some hiking, we've done some fishing, we did some history, we hit up Hermitage, which is Andrew Jackson's plantation home place, second oldest running live museum.
SPEAKER_00Uh plantation, yeah, plantation. Very cool.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, in uh the United States. So that was that was fun. We love doing stuff like that. And um also, while the last couple weeks, we have become affiliates with a couple of new groups.
SPEAKER_02Boy, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Um we are now affiliates with SDC, which is very fun. And we're going to be doing some more activities on SDC. They've asked us to even to do like webinars, which is new to our world, but hey, we'll give it a we'll give it a whirl.
SPEAKER_00Why not?
SPEAKER_01And then um LS Events, we are affiliates with them, and then also Bliss. And what that means, affiliates, is it means that um if you book a venture through our link, it helps us keep the camera rolling and keep you know, diesel fuel in the tank of the rich.
SPEAKER_00Not just that, but it also allows you guys to then to come out and experience and check out some of these events and places we're going as well. So yeah, be on the lookout for those places. And we'll talk a little bit more about it down the uh near the end of the uh the episode here today. And we'll get into you know how and how, what, and where and all that with the affiliates. Uh, but just make sure that you keep checking our website, our little link me site there that has all those buttons on there that you can check out and get that great information as well.
SPEAKER_01Right. Now, upcoming for us. So, like I said, we are in Nashville here for another week. We have a hotel takeover coming up. We have we're going to New Orleans after that. Yeah. Uh so we'll be in New Orleans for a Burbank Street. Yeah. And then we are headed back to Florida for the month of June. We have some events down there in Florida. And then we'll be heading out of Florida in around uh beginning of July. And then one of our big events we have uh on the docket is in August, August 28th through 30th. We're doing a big hotel takeover um called Key Holders Event, and it is being sponsored by Eros Knoxville. Oh my goodness. And um that is being held in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. So we will be at that hotel takeover crazy. Great hotel takeover.
SPEAKER_00Yep, we've been there before. Uh we've been there before with another group uh hosting events there, but we're going in and helping them out. And I'll tell you, it is going to be an event. If you're in the Tennessee area or in the surrounding states around it, it's easy to get to. And I'll tell you, the Ramsey hotel is phenomenal. They're great staff. Uh, we're really excited about that one. We can't wait to get out there and enjoy. And it's that time of year too, where you might be able to get, depending on the weather, might be able to get some of that uh beautiful foliage in the foliage. The trees changing. That stuff. Yeah, the the trees changing colors. How about that?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. Yeah, so that's what we have coming up. All
First Look At Red Room Nashville
SPEAKER_01right, we want to talk to you all about Red Room. Room Nashville. We're excited about this. We're excited about this one. We'll be right back.
SPEAKER_00All right, we are back and we are talking to you from the Red Room in Nashville, okay? And uh we're gonna get into the wet here in a second, but I want to just kind of give you a little bit of the where we're at. We are sitting in the middle of their playrooms. Uh, it's an amazing event, amazing uh venue here, and we're gonna tell you all about it. So, very first, let's jump right into it. What is Red Room Nashville?
SPEAKER_01Private, member-on venue, and it is located just outside of Nashville, Tennessee, and it fosters an upscale environment. You guys, it is kind of like a swanky speakeasy uh that you come into because it's very discreet on the outside. And what I love about it is it's very welcoming to new lifestyle couples as well as seasoned lifestyle.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I'll tell you, if you're looking for a place that is discrete and you you're concerned about that because of your job, whatever, this is the place to come because I mean they do an amazing job of it from the outside in, even when you're inside. I mean, they we'll get into the details of it, but it's an amazing venue, allows you to be yourself and explore. And like I said, I've been saying it all year long, right? This is the year to be adventurous and get out there and do something a little bit different. Uh, so yeah, this is the place to come if you're looking for that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, absolutely. All right, who is Red Rim Nashville for?
SPEAKER_00Well, uh, like I say, every show. It is for everybody. No, it's not for everybody, but it is really truly uh looking for those people that the local Tennessee people, visitors come to Nashville, and we just said it, Nashville, right? Yeah, what a great place to come. Anyway, what do they call it?
SPEAKER_01Nash Nash Vegas Vegas is kind of what Nashville has turned into, you guys. It is like a destination city. Nashville is becoming like a Vegas, like a um New Orleans. It is becoming a destination city. We have also, while we've been here in Nashville, we've spent a couple nights on Broadway, and a Wednesday on Broadway is just like a Saturday night in any other city. Any other city? It was packed downtown, so much fun. If you love live music, of course, that's the place to be.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and the things you will see down there is the best people watching ever.
SPEAKER_01I mean, there's a reason they call it Nas Vegas.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah. And uh, you know, speaking about Nas Vegas, if I just you know throw a little tidbit in there too, if you're coming here on vacation with family, whatever, that makes it great. You can leave them in the hotel room or whatever, and you can escape away for a couple hours and come up here and check out Red Room Nashville, right? Yeah.
SPEAKER_01That that's exactly the way I envision this being a good spot. Like, and that's what we have done while we're here. Like I said, we've taken in the outdoors, we've taken in some history, we took in some live music downtown, and then also coming here to the Red Room and getting in some lifestyle as well. Many of you often reach out to us and say, Oh, we can't do lifestyle in our communities, our hometown, you know, our jobs, our kids, our whatever it is. Well, the great way to do lifestyle is do a destination city like Nashville. And you have little gyms like this, Red Room Nashville, to come to that are super fun.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, this has been a blast.
SPEAKER_01The median age when we were here last night, we did we did come to the event last night and kind of partied here a few years.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, as a matter of fact, this is like the very next morning. So if we look a little rough and we sound a little rough, we were just here like three, four hours ago. As a matter of fact, we were right there a couple hours ago. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Um but the median age here was about 40, which of course we're used to Florida venues, and the median age is a little bit higher uh in Florida. And this one thing I noticed last night is the age was a bit lower for lifestyle crowd. Yeah, and that was refreshing and refreshing for us to see because I think that means our community is growing and is becoming more acceptable to younger crowds.
SPEAKER_00And something that just popped in my head that I'd like to throw out
Nashville As A Lifestyle Getaway
SPEAKER_00here. We didn't talk about this beforehand, but I think this really does kind of hit home for the Nashville area here as well. That if again, we talked about it being a destination event kind of place, coming with family and stuff like that. It is great because it's also centrally located. So, you know, again, talking about the surrounding states, you're only a couple hour drive away from Kentucky, you're a couple hours away from Georgia, Georgia, whatever. So, again, if you're looking for something to do on the getaway weekend, three or four-day weekend, right here, Nashville. You can take history, the hermitage, the boating, you can do so many things here and still get some lifestyle event stuff out of the way as well.
SPEAKER_01Right. Yeah, balance, right?
SPEAKER_00Balance, all about balance.
SPEAKER_01And uh another who was for newbie lifestyle couples. Oh my, yes. And I I wanted to really highlight this because you know, it's a little bit nervous walking in as a newbie and not knowing anyone, not going with friends. But this was a very welcoming environment for newbies. When we were here last night, I noticed you could tell that people were interacting with other people and you could tell that they didn't know each other.
SPEAKER_02Yep.
SPEAKER_01Um, and you could I could always tell like a new couple and it looked like seasoned lifestyle couples, or he's seasoned maybe to Red Room, would go over and talk to new couples. And is this your first time here? Welcome, that kind of thing. Another thing that I liked about this venue specifically for newbies is that the main area, the main dance venue area, it was no play was allowed, nothing below the belt, they say. So kissing and like light petting, that was okay, but no like full-on activities, which can be intimidating to newbies. And I don't love that either. And then also um it duh it it did foster um people had to be elevated in their clothes in the main area. You couldn't be like fully nude in that main area.
SPEAKER_00We'll cover those things as we go down through them.
SPEAKER_01I just thought that was really nice for newbies specifically.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it doesn't, it's not right in your face, so it's not gonna distract you. Wait, hey, I'm gonna run away and get out the door.
SPEAKER_01Exactly, exactly. It's not intimidating.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Um, another thing about Red Rim Nashville is they do um allow single males in. There is a variety of um regulations and rules, you know, around single males that uh wanted you to talk about a little bit. Yeah, the the the single males, they do allow in um so many per night, and they do have an area that they can play in. Um sometimes certain nights they have to stay at the bar.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so this the thing about the single males here is they have a vetting process and they only allow so many in per night. So and it changes per night. So I think on Friday night they allow in five or six, and of course, it's because of you know how many people they usually have here, and they don't overwhelm people with single males. So they have a vetting process to where they have just a small amount of men. And what's I liked about it was the fact that they had a designated area that they could only sit by the bar area, and it took the couples going up, if they felt comfortable to go over and talk to the gentleman, invite them to their area in the main area. But what was even better was the fact that they had a couples-only area where single males could or uh play area where single males could go into, but only with a couple. And here was the unique thing that we liked about this too was that it had to be in uh pairs and groups. So the single male could go back with the female, um, but it had to be like, or you know, by two uh or in fours, groups of fours, like another couple or something like that. But it was also it was kind of cool. Now they did have a whole other area which was open for single male play area for couples and that as well. And the single males could, you know, go out and you know, whatever, but it took somebody going over basically and asking them at the bar, hey, would you like to join us here? Be invited and be invited, which I thought was cool because we've been in a clubs before and it kind of seemed like it was overdone with single males. And uh sometimes you're in a playroom environment and then they're hovering right over you. And some people, we don't mind that, but some people kind of uh again, if you're a newbie or if you're fairly new into the lifestyle, that could be pretty much intimidating. Right. So um that was pretty that was really cool. Yeah, that was cool. Uh, how they had that set up and it was organized and it was done well. And they, you know, again, on the website, if you can go back to the red website uh for any one of these things for the policies, dress codes, and all that stuff as we talk about it. The website is redroomnashville.com. It's really simple, has all that stuff on there. Make sure you check that out site out and make sure you're going through and uh and and checking this stuff out. Uh, but let's get back. Uh, where is uh Red Room Nashville located at?
SPEAKER_01Right. We
Discretion And Single Male Policies
SPEAKER_01are 30 minutes outside of Nashville, very centrally located. Also, Red Room Nashville is in like a strip mall style of building and has plenty of parking. Also, the front of the building is very discreet. Very discreet. There's no sign, there is um, you know, there's black curtains up, um, you can't see into the window. It is very, very discreet.
SPEAKER_00Which we liked uh again, and you know, as we talk and as we I think the law this will come together as we talk about the R night and as we'll walk through how we got here and what you know how we did things. But what was cool was the fact that you could, you know, be dressing nice to the nines, coming in the door, and then enjoy yourself behind the behind the scenes kind of thing.
SPEAKER_01Definitely a speakeasy vibe. Yep, definitely a speakeasy.
SPEAKER_00We like that speaker. We that we tend to draw towards those anyway. I think we like speakeasies just because the allurement of oh the excitement of something new and something different.
SPEAKER_01And it's elite, you know, and it is it's private, um, and that's what we want. That's what we all want, like with with lifestyle.
SPEAKER_00And of course, discreetness. I mean, nobody wants to lose their job over this. Exactly.
SPEAKER_01All right, when when do people visit Red Room Nashville?
SPEAKER_00Well, they like most clubs and most venues, it's open only on the weekends. Uh now they do do special events, like you know, New Year's Eve and stuff like that. It's on a another weeknight. But typically it is Friday and Saturday night, and then like I said, different things. And along with that, uh, it also had they have theme nights. So make sure, again, check out this website, redroomnashville.com, and they will you know put out all their themed information on there. And we'll get into more details about this because this is another big thing is their dress code. So we'll cover that in a minute as well. But uh, that is very particular that you know, watch out for the themes and the dress code. Again, this is a you know, dress up kind of a gala event, place, location. So make sure you're dressing to the nines and enjoy it because I guarantee you you will enjoy it.
SPEAKER_01Definitely. Um, this venue has been open for about five years, and they love doing changes and updates to the venue. And so when you come, if you come in one year, uh if you come a year later, things may look very different because the they like to update and change they like themes of the playrooms and you know, the walls and and things like that. So be on the lookout for changes if you you know come.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and that's like we've said many times before in the past. Make sure to check out their website for any updates, what you know, pricing, all other stuff. And it's Red Rooms, uh, redroomnashville.com. Yep. All right, what's next?
SPEAKER_01Next is the why.
SPEAKER_00Oh, the why? The why this is always my favorite.
SPEAKER_01Why come to Red Room Nashville?
SPEAKER_00Why not? No. Uh again, like we've covered before, it's a destination location. Nash Vegas. It's a great place to come and experience several different things on one weekend. You might go home tired as hell on Monday, but hey, it's okay. You had a great weekend. Um, but yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I think also friendly people. Oh my gosh. Inside the club last night, we talked to so many people. Everyone was friendly. There were, you know, tons of people to talk to. It was a nice, welcoming environment. And I go back to this is very the who, this is a good destination for newbies. Um, this is a good venue because everyone was friendly, it was well vetted, it was discreet, it was safe.
SPEAKER_02Very safe.
SPEAKER_01Uh, very safe. Um, security was present, but not overbearing. That would be a good way to put it.
SPEAKER_00And I like it. I like the fact that when security's around and and because I actually had a meet a couple of security guys come up to me at different times throughout the night last night and remind me, hey, can you please watch that? Or you know, did it? And I was like, hey, not a problem.
SPEAKER_01But they were very courteous about it. You know, it wasn't it wasn't a rude, it was very, you know, kind.
SPEAKER_00And that's what I was getting ready to say was the fact that the staff here, the minute we walked in the door, they were like, hey, always wanting to help. Hey, can we help you with something? Can we get you something? Uh, the bar staff, and we'll talk about that all in a minute, because again, a little bit of uniqueness. Um, but we loved it, had an amazing time, and the the people here will make the event. Right. And we've been to so many places, and I can have I I think one of the turnoffs to some places when we do go to, it's the staff. And if they're not, you know, outgoing and and smiling and willing to help and want that, yeah, you know, even ask you questions.
SPEAKER_01That is such a good point. And this is your place.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, there this place really does. The staff makes the place, the staff makes it make you feel at home.
SPEAKER_01It sets the tone.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it sets the tone.
SPEAKER_01When you first walk in the door, um, it sets the tone from everywhere, from the experience. I would agree. I totally agree.
SPEAKER_00Yep, 100%. All right.
SPEAKER_01So, another reason of why to come, the play space is fantastic. Yeah um, the there are individual private rooms, there are group rooms, the it's very well done, the play space. Another thing that I liked was um they do different activities during the night.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that was so fun. That was fun. Yeah, it was. I just thought about that.
SPEAKER_01But it didn't it didn't take away from the night. So let me explain. So last night they did a trivia. And whenever, um, whenever we learned, oh, there's gonna be trivia, I thought in my mind, like a normal bar trivia, everyone turn the music off. The the announcer will ask the question, you write it down. It was not like that. The music kept going. The DJ said, We're doing trivia. Um, come get an envelope, and inside the envelope are the questions. So you had to go get an envelope, or I think there was even someone walking around giving envelopes and a pen. And then you had 10 minutes, I think.
SPEAKER_0010 minutes. 10 minutes to answer the questions. You went back to your at your table. They gave you all the rules and guidelines, like not using your phone to cheat, you know, and and you know, now we didn't win either. So don't I was gonna say that, but uh it was really cool because it didn't distract you from what you were there for, having a good time and playing. Because sometimes we've been to these events and they'll do trivia, these little games, and it draws out and lasts forever, it seems like, and just like, uh, can this get over so we get on with the night? Uh, this was not, this was done so perfectly, it was amazing. I had a great time, and they had prizes to go with it. I can't remember what the prize is. Oh, it was a um a gift card to a local nice restaurant. So it was fantastic. It was quick, done, over with. We were back to dancing, having a great time, and uh it was great.
SPEAKER_01Well, but they do and they do so the last night was trivia. I think they also have certain like once a month they're trying to do like karaoke, karaoke, and then they'll have a game night, and then some other things.
SPEAKER_00In fact, I think game night's coming up. There's a game night I saw on the site coming up, which I thought was kind of fun. And that kind of leads me to you know, kind of our displays here. Uh, we're sitting in the middle of the big uh couples playroom area, and they had them we come walk in here last night. I'm getting ahead of myself, that's okay. But they had these dice out here, and people were playing the dice game here in the middle of the floor and on the chairs around us. And I well, we walked in, I thought that was so cool. I was like, that was really kind of cool. Great icebreaker, great way to get newbies involved, great other people involved. And of course, going back to etiquette, uh, no is a final answer. And if you don't want to kiss a neck, ear, no, whatever, hey, you can just say nope, not for me today, and move on. And that happened, and it was cool.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, that's great. I like that. I like the little extra. It was fun.
SPEAKER_00It was cool.
SPEAKER_01All right, next up is the how.
SPEAKER_00The how.
Membership Vetting And Dress Code
SPEAKER_01The how.
SPEAKER_00Oh my, this is the thing.
SPEAKER_01Now, the how is a is kind of a big section.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we could probably do a whole section. And and the reason why we wanted to highlight this is because again, uh this site, this venue, as what we have found out going through and doing this, every venue, every site, every club, every is all unique. However, uh, some are gonna be more unique than others just be based on where they're at and their surroundings and their environment and what they try to bring to their people and to the community of the LS world. Uh, this place here, an amazing place. They have their own website. They you can go in, log in. get a free membership or not free membership you get a free login for a profile you build your profile now a couple of the unique things I saw in building the profile for here which I absolutely love is that simple fact that you had to provide your IDs they do a quick little background check but then also they'll do a um they you had to some have some affiliation to another website or another group or another club or whatever so if you're an SDC member you can join up um you have your SDC you put your SDC name in there they'll go find you check it out they want to make sure that that you're a little bit vetted and that you are um presenting yourself in a way that that it wouldn't you know and you are who you say you are saying yeah exactly they don't want they don't want fake profiles you cannot put in your a fake name you you're using your driver's license yeah um and it's for the safety of everyone here in the building exactly it goes back to that discreetness and that whole thing about where we're at and you know what goes on here as well so that you know that's kind of the process but again you get your profile made on there the great thing about their website is it creates a forum though for you to discuss with others talk to others meet people before you even get here and chat it up ask questions because that's what we were doing. I was doing it all week long and trying to get some background on this place where it was at how to get there what to look for you know kind of like what we're doing right here. But join the group uh get on the profile now there's a separate membership area where if you're gonna come and you want to you know check it out the the venue for itself you got to get a membership check out the website for the pricing I'm not gonna talk about pricing here because it could change in a minute but then uh the pricing though uh to join the group and the profile was fairly cheap. The events are a little bit uh on the on what we would call on the pricer side but it's only because it's so cheap for the profile. So I thought it bounced each other out perfectly and it was no more than what we would ever spend going out on a any other night.
SPEAKER_01And uh it was definitely not more than Broadway on a Wednesday.
SPEAKER_00We were having a good time on Broadway and it got a little expensive a couple times but yeah um another thing that you told me was that it there's a time oh there oh absolutely this is extremely important so they want to have everybody vetted per se uh at least 24 hours before the event or for the party which makes complete sense uh now they will you know make exception here or there whenever however uh you need to have your stuff uh your profile and your membership vetted at least 24 hours before the event so if you haven't done that and if you're looking to come here and look to check it out just keep that in the back of your cranium and think about that for the future.
SPEAKER_01There is homework ahead of time.
SPEAKER_00There is homework yeah it doesn't take long don't think it's this long drawn out process it took me maybe 15 minutes to go through all of it it's well done as a matter of fact they had to correct me uh I actually put our IDs in the wrong place and they came up with my profile picture which I thought was a ugly ass who the hell wants the driver's lesson anyway but I made that mistake so just pay attention to what you're doing and you'll be done with it in 10-15 minutes. Yeah yeah so there is a process there is a process yep but it's it's meant for a reason and it's I think it's great. It's fantastic.
SPEAKER_01Right, right it's for vetting so another uh process is the dress code the dress code here is made to raise the bar it is made on purpose to make everyone elevated in the space um what they're looking for is men in collared shirts button down um dress slacks women cotton women in cottil dresses or you know upscale tops and pants um that kind of thing it is an elevated environment and they want to foster that absolutely and they want to foster that because they want it to be an elite evening for everyone involved yeah um so they do not allow t-shirts baseball hats baggy pants ripped jeans um tank tops flip flops um it is an environment that you would go you would want to dress like you were going to an upscale restaurant if you're going out to meet some friends in an upscale restaurant restaurant having drinks it's not a backyard barbecue it is not a beach party so don't dress for that save that for the backyard barbecue this is a different environment and whenever you agree to come here you agree to wear a collared shirt you agree not to wear flip-flops now and and I would also like to throw in there and just throw this out there a lot of that also has to do with the discreetness and and part of as well because as you're getting out of your vehicle and you're walking into the speakeasy you don't want to draw attention to you know if it's neon party night and it's you know and you see all these booty shorts and really come in here someone's gonna you know catch their eye and be like what's going on right and that's not the vibe that the club wants to foster. And I like and I like that a lot you know there needs to be space for that we have the you know beach parties but there needs to be the elite elite space as well and I appreciate that as a lifestyle you know community member that we have an upscale place to go to that I like getting dressed up absolutely that's and you know don't want to make sure you know make sure to throw this out there too that you it's not like you're gonna be staying in those clothes all night long.
SPEAKER_00Right I was the minute you come inside okay go ahead.
SPEAKER_01Yep I was going to mention that so when you from your car to the front door be sure you're in appropriate clothes. If you need to cover or wear a jacket even if it is July please do so because they want discretion outside of the the main area when you come in in the main party space they do want clothes on um especially early in the night that's what we saw last night it was in men in the main main club space topless is okay for men and for women um they do like for men to keep pants on topless you know not not a shirt is fine. And then at a certain time of the night many women start changing into lingerie or something more sexy. Of course behind closed doors another thing I loved loved loved about this venue that I haven't seen in any other venue you guys is there is a women's only dressing room and it is so well done. They have a makeup table a little sitting spot shelves to put your bag on a little dressing area separate bathrooms separate um you know um like I said makeup area lots of mirrors and whenever I went in to change last night because I started in uh one outfit and then I changed it to some lingerie inside there there were like six women in there and they were all chit chatting and someone helping zip up and someone helping button and I had a problem with my shoes. So someone was helping with that. And it was such a nice environment for that. And I want to say I would love to have other owners take note of this because this was such a great feature. I would love to see it at other clubs. Because sometimes when we go to other clubs I'm trying to get out of a very expensive dress in a locker room and I'm hitting my elbow I'm hit I'm you know hitting somebody else yeah there's usually like 20 30 people in a small confined or trying to get under us. It's hard to get changed and in this venue I loved that feature.
SPEAKER_00And and what that atten you know that attention to detail really lay leads to is in the when you come here as a couple right guys this is specifically for you if the woman is happy and the woman's having a good time everybody's gonna have a good time right that's true. And if those little attention to detail type things is going to build up throughout the night is going to make for a great amazing evening like we had last night. Right. And it's those little things that attention to details to take care of matter and that's what this venue does.
SPEAKER_01They do a great job those little things like the like the women's changing I mean it's those simple things right another thing about dress code they do have theme nights and so sometimes the dress code will get have exceptions on theme nights all that information is on the website be sure to check it out um in and and again like the themes they have security and security will come out and say okay yep that's theme wear that's good for tonight or no that's not acceptable to perfect example of that is when we came through the door last night the very first thing they looked at me I had ripped jeans on they had I had a shirt um like a tank sleeveless shirt style but it wasn't really a tank a nest shirt and uh they looked at me like uh but I was like and I'd mentioned hey the theme's pink and I'm you know and they're like well it was and it the theme was uh 2000s mean girl 2000s and so that was kind of the style that he was dressing in on purpose I thought I had the theme down yeah but one thing that I will say that there wasn't a whole lot of men in theme last night uh and there's about 50-50 and what people were wearing in theme uh so actually going back to that whole discretion and the um the vibe coming in the door just be prepared to watch for that right right and you know something I think might not be a bad idea is if you have a questionable outfit maybe have a change of clothes in your vehicle just in case security's like uh that would that doesn't work for us here um because that's that's a big deal you don't want to have to drive to a store and buy a shirt on a Saturday night I thought I might have to yeah we we we thought that was pretty close but no baseball caps no headgear for men it's a classy environment joint keep it classy all right I think we got the how down.
Tour Of Rooms And Setup
SPEAKER_00Yeah what's next uh our story about coming in yeah so we we want to go through um and tell you about what the venue looks like through through our our now you guys out there on the podcast just put your close your eyes and put your thinking caps on because we'll do our best to just kind of scribe and give you the feeling and what's going on as we walked in the door. But so as we walked in last night or we got to the uh parking lot uh we got our stuff together and we walked up towards the door there was a gentleman standing outside the door and you could tell by he was in a suit nice suit uh and he immediately you could tell that this was the location even though it didn't say you know Red Room Nashville all over the place you could tell this was the location people were coming in the door you could see the as I mentioned the guy we walked in the door and we stood in line for just a couple minutes they checked and verified us and then you have to show your ID show your ID again at the door again. Yep and then that's when they kind of go over some of the rules and stuff and if you're a newbie a newbie newbie to the club love this fact that they kind of gave you right then and there before you took an O step inside the door they uh brought somebody up front and the again the people the customer service the people amazing uh working here they took you on a tour and they gave us a full-fledged tour of every nook and cranny of this place and it was great and they explained the rules the etiquette and why and what was going on and uh kind of showed us around so as we walked in the front door you walk into this great big main uh what we call the dance floor main uh area uh DJ booth a bar we'll talk about the bar specifically in a little bit uh but then they had VIP areas all around the outside with sitting area in the uh with a big dance floor in the middle and then sitting areas around the dance floor which I thought was plenty of seating oh yes uh no problem uh and there was probably about 150 maybe 200 people here last night maybe I don't know I didn't really count take a head count but uh there's a lot of people here and it was a good time one of the great things about here um that I would definitely if we were coming back I would take advantage of would be to get a VIP um a VIP area they had m multiple I don't know maybe maybe 20 VIP areas maybe and it wasn't very expensive.
SPEAKER_01I think the biggest VIP then the most expensive one was $300 for the night which you guys VIP that's not bad. Now granted that's not bottle service and stuff because it is a BYOB area but it was a large large space so you could easily put 10 people in there and maybe split it between five couples and it wouldn't be that expensive and have a spot to sit um and that's comfy and and you know that but they're all around the edge of the the dance club the VIP which is great I loved it they weren't secluded off they didn't have you know walls up around them or not like that it was all open and it made for a great venue to be right there.
SPEAKER_00So let's let's take a minute and talk about the bar area and a couple other details about that. As you mentioned it was BYOB. So you have your bottle you can bring your bottle in and you can take it anywhere with you you don't have to put it behind the bar which was a little different a little unique for us uh because I had to ask hey am I supposed to give to them nope the bar is only meant for those mixers coke sodas ice all that kind of stuff they had a little area with some snacks and food which is fantastic and one thing I really liked was this place wasn't inundated with like TV screens all around because sometimes you go to clubs and you see that and they got different things all over the place. They had one TV behind the bar which actually had sports on it was an MMA fight and a lot of people kind of congregated there to watch the fight. It was great but then went right back to you know having a great time in the club and I think there were a couple of other TVs out there that just kind of had like I don't know porn or you know kind of stuff going on it. And it was it was great great little environment great little you know that main big area was great. I loved it.
SPEAKER_01Anything did miss about the uh well um no I think you covered all that that main area everyone was mingling. Oh something I did want to mention the music was great but it wasn't so loud that you couldn't hold a conversation we could easily hold a conversation with the music going. One of my not favorite things about a lot of the club environments is when the music is so loud you can't even hear the person next to you.
SPEAKER_00Yeah and I tell you I'm a little hoarse today because we did a lot of talk we did a lot of things last night we'll get into those later but uh the uh the we were talking and that's a great point the the music was perfect the right level you know it wasn't too loud to where you couldn't have a conversation was really nice it really set the mood and the environment very well done and that bar space that you were talking about there was a bartender or a lady back there getting serving mixers and you know getting she was awesome taking tips I did have a little tip jar so bring some cash for you put yep uh so back to the bar area and kind of continue on with what you know as we walked in did all this so uh at the bar area now this is again a little bit unique when they're single male and how they uh operate their single males the single males there's five or six chairs right there at the bar at the end of the bar and that's where the single males uh kind of hang out for the night I think that's isn't that only on Saturday I think on Friday they can mingle they can mingle yeah on Fridays they can mingle but they have a little area there and uh right to the right if if you're well if you're looking at the bar to the left uh is where you kind of went down this little hallway with bathrooms plenty of bathrooms if you're worried about bathrooms and and that's where the women's changing area is at the biggest changing area uh but you went down this little hallway and then it opened up into there was two or three playrooms back there and a little uh um Sybian room that's right a little Sybian room and that was the the area in which all the single males were allowed to go as they felt free there by the bar which I thought was great. Again it took somebody go over and talk to them they weren't allowed to you know mingle by themselves all over the place so I thought that was great and then back out from there if you go back to the main area over a little bit in the like almost like left corner of um the area that's kind of where we're at now inside of a door uh you walk through this door and you walk into the couples only play area and you walk into this little playroom space that we're sitting in right now and one of the things I wanted to bring to your attention because we've mentioned this now guys I know you guys on the podcast you can't see this but I'm gonna describe it to you um but if you look behind us you can see these rooms these are all the different playrooms back here but you see the red velvet um what do you call that rope that goes across rope that's exactly what we talk about when we say but in a lot of places we go to the playrooms you can close the door you can put a rope up if you want people to watch you just put the rope up and that's they they can sit back and watch but if you have the rope down then you can go in people that that's basically giving the etiquette or the you know invitation to allow people to come in.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00Uh but I just thought it was great to be able to show you guys exactly how that goes.
SPEAKER_01But of course if the door is closed it means they do not want company.
SPEAKER_00Yeah do not knock do not wiggle the hands one's a little bit unique for back here and I think it's great that we can show it is this little room over here which is what do they call it the fishbowl room this this bowl here this room behind me is called the fish bowl.
SPEAKER_01So there's a window into the room and the that's inside of it is decorated in a in an aquatic theme. And um they call it the fish bowl room so there's a window into into it but the other three playrooms out here there's not a window. So when the door is closed it means that that they want privacy.
SPEAKER_00Now if you're looking for a glory hole though there's a female glory hole back in the corner and then on the uh single guys only area oh I say single guys only but the single guy area over there they did have a glory hole for guys over there but the female single you know it's right back there guys.
SPEAKER_01Yeah and then also in the back of this space there is a small like dungeon area where there's a St. Andrews Cross there's some spanking benches and some toys back there as well.
SPEAKER_00They did a great job each one of the little private playrooms here are themed and uh they did a great job with decorating and taking care of all the stuff back here. And they had staff again once you were done in the room the staff was lickety split in there cleaning up make sure things wiped down for the next patron to come in take care of their business. Exactly yeah that was fun so to talk a little bit about how our night went after that so we uh got the tour we went out hang out by the VIP we had a VIP area we hung out the VIP area and we talked a lot met at some many great people and didn't we bump into some some I would call them friends now I would call them friends. We met this couple uh a couple years ago on a on a bliss cruise and we happened to play with them we met them at a meet and greet on the Bliss cruise played with them after the meet and greet and uh they just happened to be here and they're like hey could we invite you guys back to the playroom and we were both like fuck yeah let's go let's do this. First time was great the second time was even better even better. It was amazing. As a matter of fact we used this room right here.
SPEAKER_01And I liked that in this room here because we could close the door we could have privacy but yet I could still hear things in this main space and usually that would kind of bother me because I I would need to not I would need to be in my own headspace and sometimes the chatter and the people talking in a playroom distracts me. But because there was a wall and a door I wasn't as distracted last night. That's a good
Their Night And Playroom Etiquette
SPEAKER_01point.
SPEAKER_00Let's bring this up as an etiquette point for everybody just to clear the the room here and say something for a second. When you're in a playroom environment in a lifestyle club one of the biggest turns off is if you're sitting there, you know if if things are trying to go on around you and usually in the playroom area it is uh it's not the place to talk about the baseball game football game and all this blah blah blah blah I need a coke but no take it out of the playroom if you're going that way at least keep it in a conversation you know a whisper right it seems like everybody wants to yell everywhere you go in the playrooms.
SPEAKER_01Anyway that's my thing off like and I've even said things sometimes to people I'm like hey would you mind to keep your voice down you know and and it's sometimes that communication because people don't know you know I think sometimes they get loud and they're having fun.
SPEAKER_00And quite honestly every playroom every club we've been to so far I think it's one of the etiquette rules they have there but it seems like nobody wants to follow it and nobody anyway that's my kind of thing. Just yeah whatever just make sure to adhere by that and be respectful to the people next to you also try and have a good time. Exactly I agree. So we we ended up playing with this couple again it was amazing had a great time and uh I want to give another tip here. Another tip? Just a tip? We're getting into just the tips?
SPEAKER_01Uh well this one goes along with the end of our night okay the um the gal that uh we played with she was pretty ingenious because she had a go home outfit in her bag yeah so she arrived in her nice dress beautiful dress a lace you know nice dress and then she changed into her lingerie cute little bodysuit she was looking you know fun on the dance floor all of that and then we played but then in her bag ladies hot tip she had some sweats a little it was it wasn't it wasn't like frumpy sweats but it was still sexy it was sexy like a crop top crop top little sweatshirt you know things and she just we went to the women's um the women's dressing room area and then got out of our lingerie and got in our go home outfit and I had to put on my outfit that I arrived back in but man I was envious of her sweats. That was really cool. So I will be bringing a go home outfit now a comfy outfit. Usually in Florida I usually have like a little romper that I put on because it's warm but other places it's kind of cold and boy those sweats looked great.
SPEAKER_00Yeah I'll tell you it was fun. Yeah yeah and anyway we talked for a few more minutes outside we gathered our stuff up and then out the door we went. We had a great time enjoyed it like I said the environment here is fantastic but what makes the environment here so great is I think one the venue it's taken care of and then two the staff here the people taking care of you and always asking but also making sure you're staying in line in tow with what the rules and regulations are because guess what if you're coming to this place and you don't like what the rules hey that's fine. Uh it's okay.
SPEAKER_01Right and if you think it's too many rules then don't come that that's the way it is that all of the clubs.
SPEAKER_00But they're doing it here for a reason. I like and we like the reason the discretion you have to have that in some places and it works perfectly here. And the way they and the way they do it uh to fit that discretion I think is fantastic.
SPEAKER_02Right.
Practical Tips BYOB Phones Smoking
SPEAKER_00Yeah we had a great time enjoyed it we will be back we'll we'll be back yeah yeah we've already said that all right now just the tips just the tips just the tips for this section our first one is check the website the the website is a vast amount of information and take the time get on there look at the website but then once you sign up for a membership um it is like its own little forum mini SDC almost almost like their own little SDC or SLL it took me a little bit to get no let me give you this as a tip okay I this just pop in my cranium for a second one thing I I fell into the the uh the abyss in this uh if you're looking at the website over your phone versus over your computer okay because I was talking with the person uh trying to get the the you know where the location's at but if I was on my computer and I would have gone to it it there's some things that don't show up on your phone that show up on the computer. So make sure to check on your computer an iPad.
SPEAKER_01An iPad your iPad yeah your iPad is kind of like the phone you won't be able to see everything but if you go to a laptop or a desktop you can actually see all the tabs.
SPEAKER_00And I won't put that on the club that that's not on the club that's not on the people here because it's just the the difference between because I've come across that and other things too. So just be be aware of that.
SPEAKER_01Right, right right and I would say also make sure you get in there and read all of the rules and regulations because you don't want to get to the door and be surprised.
SPEAKER_00Yep and again the BYOB policy one thing uh we haven't talked about yet Too, but the B I BYOB is uh which I thought was another ingenious idea. People brought small coolers uh with their own ice with their drinks in it already, their you know, if they had beer or whatever. Um I'm not talking, you know, bringing your great big Yeti. Uh I probably would say not, but uh just a little 8-12 can eight to 12 can um cooler of any size, any you know, type, make a model, whatever.
SPEAKER_01But then the VIP areas, they do provide you with an ice bucket and the cups and mixers are all here. So last night we literally just walked in with our bottle. No, that's all we walked in with. We didn't we didn't bring a cooler, we didn't bring any of that. We just you know use the cups and things here. But you can use your own, you you can use your own tumblers. People were had their own tumblers constantly, right?
SPEAKER_00100%. Yep, yeah. And again, discretion, discretion, discretion, make sure you check out it's a big deal here. We like it for a big deal for many different reasons. We won't go over them all again, but uh discretion is a big deal here, so make sure you're you're checking up with the website and that website is redroomashville.comnashville.com. I was like, oh and uh there was a test there. That was a test. And I almost failed it myself.
SPEAKER_01I also wanted to mention in just the tips the phone policy. They do have a spot where you can take pictures. There's like a little photo booth area, and then you can take pictures inside of a playroom with a closed door. Yep. This is something that's unique about this venue. A lot of other venues, you cannot take your phone even in the playroom, in the play space at all. But here you can take it in the in the private play space with the door closed.
SPEAKER_00With the door closed. Now, I'd also extend the courtesy of saying to the other couple, if you're in there with another couple, of course. To like, hey, you mind, or you know, pictures and stuff like that. Right. Make sure that goes back to our number one foundational rule, you know, communication, communication becomes lubrication.
SPEAKER_01That is true. I'm gonna use that.
SPEAKER_00I'm gonna catch that's another catchphrase I'm gonna put you out there.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, communication becomes lubrication. Oh, look at you with the rhymes.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I like it.
SPEAKER_01Um so the fo that's the phone policy. No phones in that main space or anywhere else that a lot of people congregate. So even like if it's a text or a phone call, they ask you to take it out the front door. I was getting ready to say out the front door to have a phone call. So keep that in mind. If you're in your lingerie, they don't want you out at the front door. So, you know, you have to be dressed out there too. Also, that was another thing about their smoking policy. They do not have an inside smoking. Smoking was not allowed inside anywhere. If you needed to smoke, it was outside the front door. And then um also uh vapes are allowed, but this is not a 420 friendly venue.
SPEAKER_00They do not tolerate drugs of any type, any sort, which again I like because you don't want people, you know, it's just a safety thing.
SPEAKER_01So so it's not a 420 friendly environment um and no drugs, and they are very staunch on that policy.
SPEAKER_00I liked it. Yeah, I think it is a great safe environment.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I do.
SPEAKER_00I agree. All right, so I think that's just about it for the old tips.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I think so.
SPEAKER_00And guess what? We've got our mailbag question coming up here in just a second. So we're gonna take a quick break, we're gonna refresh ourselves, and we'll be right back with our mailbag.
SPEAKER_01All right, you're right back.
SPEAKER_00All right,
Finding Meet And Greets
SPEAKER_00and we're back with our mailbag question of the day, and it is we get this all the time.
SPEAKER_01This is actually a question we see all the time. How do we find out as a new lifestyle couple where meet and greets and house parties are being held? How do you find the information?
SPEAKER_00That's my that's my area. That's my I want to say my expertise. No, it is. You're the research guy. And sometimes I kind of go over a little more a little bit overboard with it. Um, but I'll tell you the websites, SDC, SLS, all the different websites, and you know, something else that I've actually found out about like finding the places around here in Nashville, there's nothing wrong with just doing a Google check and just doing a Google search, you know, for lifestyle clubs, events, because you know, some places aren't listed on SLS or SDC, uh, or some events, some you know, people and again in Florida, and this I don't we haven't found it anywhere else, but in Florida, I don't know how, why, or what happened that caused this, but a lot of people do it on Facebook. Right. Uh they have a they have a Facebook, uh Couples Lifestyle Facebook profile, and they they just communicate and they set up events because I guess it's easy to set up events on um on Facebook and and get that word out that way. As a matter of fact, that's how we used to do a lot of our events around the Tampa area was on Facebook. So I would say, at least from our experience so far, that is only uh an experience that we have seen in Florida, but I'm sure to do it otherwise, just we haven't come across it yet. But check those SDC SLS. Uh they usually have another a tab there, it's called parties and events, uh, or on SLS, I think it's called, uh hot dates and events. But just check it out and don't be afraid to check out local areas or another thing I found about it is really easy to put in there the location you're going to and then see what's going on there. And I've done that so far on this trip, just about every place we stopped.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_00Uh and it's kind of fun and unique to see exactly where all the sexy lifestylers are at. And uh what we want to bring to you someday, and we'll probably do it here in the next couple of weeks, or not in a couple weeks, but hope to do our first one uh over the our travels this this summer is uh kind of just find a nice spot we're at and we're gonna be there for a couple of weeks, and we set up our own little hotspot um meet and greet and just post it on SDC or SLS and say, hey, sexy uh friends come out and find us.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Another one I want to mention here is that when you lifestyle people, of course, when you go to a destination like Bliss Cruise or Secrets or Caliente or even here at Red Room, make connections with people. You know, make connections with them. We have a lot of connections with people we've met only one or two other times. However, when we got here to Nashville, I remembered, hey, I met this really cool chick in, you know, we met her in Florida and I just hit her up on Facebook and I said, Hey, we're in Nashville. What are some cool places? What should we not miss? Uh, any, you know, anything you recommend. And then she came back with a laundry list of things, and then she said, also, by the way, we're going boating on Saturday. Do you guys want to come? Yeah. And that's the way lifestyle is. That's the way lifestyle people are. If you and that's why we make those connections and we keep them. And just like the couple that we had met that we played with last night, we played with a year ago on Bliss Cruise because we kept connection with them. And so that is all about community, right? And so um again, make the connections, keep in touch with people. Another hot tip here is when you put a contact in your phone. So if you're exchanging numbers with someone, I always put the person's name. Uh, if it's the woman, I put her name first. If it's the man, I put his name in parentheses behind it. Under last name, I usually put the city that they live in. On the next line down, I put where we met them at and have that information. That way, whenever I'm like, okay, I can't remember what their name is, but I remember that they were in Tennessee. I can put in Tennessee in my phone, you know, contact search.
SPEAKER_00Because how many Johns do you have on your phones, right, guys? So you want to be able to make sure you keep that. Yeah, and back to the question of our mailbag with the the how do you find LS events and how parties and stuff, it's just connecting and making those connections and and keeping the community alive. Absolutely, absolutely. And obviously using SLS and the other tools that come to you as you you go through your uh progression through the lifestyle.
Affiliates Questions And Closing
SPEAKER_01Speaking of those platforms, we are now affiliates with SDC. Yes. That means on this page, on this uh on this podcast, on the show notes, uh our link, our affiliation link for SDC will be on there. We talk about it all the time. We are now getting involved with them. It means that you can sign up with our link. We get a little bit of a kickback on the um the the um the the the link, and then it helps keep the lights on for us and you get affiliated like through our link.
SPEAKER_00So please use our chance to come out and explore. And like I said, you know, uh my thing for this year is maybe be adventurous and get out to do things. Uh, but we're we're now with SDC uh and we're they're asking us to do some other stuff on the SDC site itself. So you're gonna see us on there as well. But we're also got an affiliation with um SLS events, with events coming up with them down in New Orleans area, and then obviously in 2028, the big extravaganza that they're connecting with Bliss. So we're affiliates with those. But the thing is, make sure you go to our link me site that you'll see on in the notes, like uh like Ms. Cora said, and just you know, make sure to stay up to what we're doing because the that affiliate list needs to be growing.
